More context about clients and counterparties
For lawyers, in-house counsel and bailiffs who want to check a file before taking action.
Problem
- Unclear ownership or board structure of companies.
- Lack of financial context about clients or counterparties.
- Time lost looking up the CBE, the Belgian Official Gazette and the NBB separately.
- Difficulty analysing corporate history and structure.
Solution
- See full director structure, shareholders, and history at a glance.
- Understand profit, debt, and equity from the latest annual accounts.
- Use the Health score and the risk signals to screen a counterparty quickly.
- Follow a company and get an e-mail every morning when new annual accounts are filed or a director changes.
- Group relevant companies in lists for contract or litigation prep.
RISK SIGNALS
See a counterparty's risk signals on its company page
Assess a counterparty's financial health with clear risk signals. Negative equity, loss-making years, weak liquidity and high social debts are listed, so you know whether proceedings or a writ are worth the effort.
- Automatic detection
- The signals are calculated from the last three annual accounts and the legal status in the CBE. You do not have to calculate anything yourself.
- Severity per signal
- Each signal gets an urgency level (red or amber), so you know straight away which ones need attention and which are informative.
- Evolution per financial year
- Check the key figures per financial year to see whether the problems are recent or have been dragging on for years.
CREDIT ASSESSMENT
Evaluate the recoverability of your counterparty
Before you start proceedings, you want to know whether the counterparty can pay. The Health score and the credit limit are calculated on the annual accounts filed with the NBB.
- Financial capacity
- See the calculated credit limit and the risk level. That helps you judge whether proceedings are worthwhile.
- Solvency check
- Review the solvency ratio and equity. Crucial for determining whether a judgment can actually be collected.
- Ratio analysis
- All relevant financial ratios at your fingertips, from current ratio to debt level, to back up your arguments with hard data.
DUE DILIGENCE
Find out who is behind the parties involved
See the directors, shareholders and related companies behind a case, whether it concerns a bankruptcy, a takeover or a dispute.
- Corporate network mapped
- Visualise who is behind a company: directors, shareholders and their other mandates. Handy to check whether the same people sit behind several companies.
- Party risk profile
- Assess the risk profile of all involved companies and individuals. Health scores and signals give you an objective starting point.
- Report as an attachment
- Add the PDF report to your file. The figures come from the annual accounts filed with the NBB, which you can request yourself if needed.

Frequently asked questions
Can I see whether a counterparty is worth pursuing?
You see the equity, debts, liquidity and Health score from the latest annual accounts, plus the legal status in the CBE. That tells you whether there are assets to recover, not whether you will succeed. We do not hold seizures or judgments.
Can the figures be used in proceedings?
The figures come from the annual accounts filed with the National Bank of Belgium. You can cite those, and request the filed accounts themselves from the NBB. Our PDF report is a convenient attachment, not a certified document.
Will I find all of a director's mandates?
On the person page you see the mandates as published in the annual accounts and the Belgian Official Gazette, both current and ended. Mandates that were never published, or foreign mandates, are not included.
