Before you give 30 days' credit
For suppliers and wholesalers who deliver to new customers on invoice.
Problem
- No insight into whether a new customer can actually pay.
- A customer in trouble is only noticed once the invoices are already outstanding.
- No notification when an existing customer files poor annual accounts.
- Looking up every customer separately at the NBB and the CBE takes time.
Solution
- See the Health score from 1 to 5 and the suggested credit limit for each customer.
- See risk signals such as negative equity, loss-making years or weak liquidity.
- Follow your customers in the watchlist and get an e-mail every morning when new annual accounts are filed or a director changes.
- Set up alert rules to find new companies that match your criteria, for example in your sector and region.
- Export your customer list with score and key figures to Excel.

Frequently asked questions
How much credit do I give a new customer?
The company page shows a suggested credit limit, calculated on the equity, liquidity and result from the last three annual accounts. It is a guideline, not a guarantee. Combine it with the Health score and your own experience with the customer.
Will I be notified when a customer deteriorates?
Yes, if you follow the customer. You get an e-mail every morning when a followed company files new annual accounts or changes a director; the figures and the score are updated daily from the NBB extract. Alert rules (Pro) also find new companies and newly filed figures that match your filters.
Can I see whether a customer pays its suppliers late?
Not per invoice: we do not have payment behaviour or outstanding invoices. What you do see is the supplier credit in days on the Key figures tab: how many days the company takes on average to pay its suppliers, calculated from the annual accounts. If that number rises year after year, that is a signal.
